Flay the backs of the beasts
That cart your burden to the deep
The devil does not go further than here
One night you must, one night you must
Unmask, an idea
Heed the visions you've seen
Muster the strength you know you will need
The angel does not go further than here
One night you must, this night you must take heart
To take flight
You must keep climbing higher and higher
From the spiral of woe you did scry hope
In the binds of, that sanctuary everything was never as it seemed
Open your mind
Breathe in and take flight
Unmask an idea
Unveil truth, watch as the illusion it disappears
Its waiting for you
Its always laid waiting for you
You dive in the fire but the flames don't burn you
You are reborn
Cast your husk to the pit, climb to the light of the dawn
Its waiting its waiting for you
To finally see, what you are free to be
You'll learn your true name
Death is but the next door of this grand journey
What we've raised to the sky
We must raze to the ground
The barriers built up
Must all be tore down
To unmask the ideal
Its waiting for you
The eternal moment that's hidden in view
The divinest of bliss that surrounds all you do
Open the door
Your perception is key, yes you need nothing more
Its waiting for you
Its always laid waiting for you
You dive in the fire but the flames don't burn you
You are reborn
Cast your husk to the pit, climb to the light of the dawn
Its waiting its waiting for you
To finally see, what you are free to be
You'll learn your true name
Death is the but the next door of this grand journey
Im late to the party on this one, but I just watched the video of KB talking about Road to the Sphynx and I had to come on here and buy your album. Ive been hooked since I heard Numbers the first time, I want to support you guys and your freedom to create. Keep it up, I hope we get more Numbers!!!! Colt Anderson
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
